This is also undertaken on a regional basis and we look to service your account with the supply of Polished Granite, Cut Granite, Bevelled Granite, Processed Granite, Grooved Granite and Profiled Granite. We have a modern manufacturing facility which can produce any shape in line with your project or contract requirements. Ideally we would look to service all of your annual requirements in order to maximise the best pricing policy for you. Blyth Granite operate as a partner for many of our customers allowing us to provide the highest levels of offsite service, on site deliveries and short lead times.

 

We have the largest & widest range stock of pre cut Granite Slabs in the UK and are confident that we can supply all types and colours in line with your contract and customer expectations. Specialist rates will be provided to accounts with over £50,000 spend per annum. As the largest stockist in the UK we can provide a wide range of colours and slab sizes to suit your Bulk Granite requirements. We are confident that we can provide you bulk granite deliveries including multiple granite colours. We will supply on a national basis for accounts which are in the region of £100,000 and above. We have a full logistics resource which can supply nationally multiple slabs on a daily or weekly basis.

We excel in the supply of common and unusual colours including trade named granites as found in our colour samples below. Granite Applications & Caring for Granite

 

There are many uses for Granite within both functional and aesthetic design attributes. Granite is a tough material with a visual impact including Cladding, Worktops, Flooring, Vanity Units, Tables, Kitchen Surfaces, and Flooring Tiles.

 

Granite can be used in many applications including Granite Bartops, Granite Cladding, Granite Counters, Granite Flooring, Granite Kitchen Surfaces, Granite Kitchen Tops, Granite Sills, Granite Skirting, Granite Splash backs, Granite Surfaces, Granite Tiles, Granite Tops, Granite Vanity Tops, Granite Window Sills, Granite Work surfaces, Granite Worktops, Granite Worktop Blanks & Granite Blanks. Natural Stone is a beautiful and durable material but will benefit from care in its use, maintenance & good housekeeping practices

 

DO NOT:

Drag heavy appliances across the worktop or use knives/choppers directly on the granite surface. Significant scratches are extremely difficult to deal with.

Use any cleaning medium which is abrasive, acidic or highly caustic: dulling (or worse) of the finish may result.

Leave liquid spillages sitting on the surface for long periods; fruit juices, oils and detergents can have a detrimental effect on the worktop sealer if left in contact for extended periods.

Use worktops as a workbench or stand on them for access (to replace lights for example); it is dangerous for you and bad for the granite.

Leave hot or greasy pans sitting on the surface.

 

DO:
Wipe up spillages immediately with a clean cloth. 
Dry up water splashes; leaving water spillages to dry naturally (for example, around taps) could, over time, lead to unsightly lime scale deposits especially in hard-water areas. 
Use a chopping board to prevent damage to the worktops (its also kinder to your knives) 
Use a trivet (pan stand) to support hot pans. 
After use, wipe down the surfaces with a clean damp cloth, a little soap in the wiping water may be desirable but frequent washing with copious amounts of water is not recommended.

 

MAINTENANCE:
If the Good Housekeeping Practices are followed there should be no necessity for major maintenance works; however, to retain the shine on polished surfaces and assist the water-repellent characteristics, the occasional application of a combined cleaner/sealer/polish will be beneficial. (For example Akemi Triple Effect is an easily used spray-on/wipe off product for polished granite maintenance and is food-safe). Where surfaces are a honed finish, products such as Lithofin MN-Stainstop are suitable. Granite is extremely tough but not infinitely so, hence a little care as outlined above will help to maintain its beauty. As with all natural materials, some of the aesthetic appeal comes from the variations of colour, veins and markings within any particular type of granite and any slight imperfections or brecciations are normal and give each piece its individuality. The suitability of granite (or a particular type of granite) for use in a specific project can be advised by your granite fabricator. Whilst the foregoing information is given in good faith as a general guide, it cannot be specific for each individual application.
